Stripes

I tried out another type of design yesterday - started like with a normal eyeliner, and then winging it across my lid, leaving a gap between and winging it up to my browbone from the outer corner as well.I filled in the space in the middle with Lime Crime Nymph, and then drew a graduation in blue/purple (Tempting Hansel), teal (steamy) and Nymph (white w/ gold iridescence), deepening and blending the lines with MAC Carbon. I wish I had taken a more red-based purple, but this was the first time I used Tempting Hansel and I did not know yet how it would come out on my lids...

Painted Roses

My latest Fyrinnae order arrived this week, and (among others) I got those two gorgeous red shades, Kamikaze (pink-based) and Painted Roses (coral-based), so I had to play with them today:)! I applied Cheeky (light pink, more sparkly on my hands than on my lids, where it appeared almost matte) on the lid, Kamikaze in the crease wih a rather straight line in the outer corners, then blended upwards with Painted Roses and Pure Luxe Orange Sorbet. I used MAC Vanilla eyeshadow on the browbone and lined my eyes with MAD Black Cherry (pigment mixed with water). The falsies are another favourite of mine: p2 Ultra Volume lashes, which- alas - were LE:(... I used Black Cherry (dry) to line my lower lid as well, adding some Cheeky in the inner and Painted Roses in the outer corners, and some white kohl on the waterline. Mascara is - as always, CG Lash Blast.

And on another note, I will be starting singing and ballet lessons again next week, and I'm so excited :D!

Happy Easter!

Happy Easter/Passover to all of you who celebrate it!

One of the reasons why I love Fyrinnae is the amount of almost matte eye shadows that they offer - because especially when using glitter, matte colours are a staple for balancing the whole look and adding texture. For this look, I used a matte pink (Peppermint Stick) on the lid, a bright turquoise (Sea Sprite, which I think is unfortunately discontinued :() in the crease, and a light mint with slight gold shimmer (Anemone) to blend the crease upwards. Then I mixed some Fixing Gel withl a MAC Antique Gold Glitter and lined both my lower and my upper lid in a rather thick line. Finally, I lined my waterline with black kohl and applied false lashes by essence to the upper lid:

Paint me a rainbow...

This is actually a premiere for me - in all my time of doing FOTDs, I can't remember ever having done a true rainbow look! But spring is putting me in a colourful mood, so I decided to have a go at this today :)...

I started out on my lashline with Kelly Green, then went further up with Teal, Blue, Violet, PL Fruit Punch, Pink Bronze and a matte yellow by essence, finishing with Polished Ivory under my lashes. I added some black liner and some Pearl Sun (light shimmery yellow) on my lower lid, as well as white kohl on my waterline, and finished the look with some gold stars and MAC #2 lashes:

MAC Bare Canvas, MAC Kelly Green, MAC Teal, MAC Blue, Pure Luxe Fruit Punch, MAC Pink Bronze, essence Yellow, MAC Polished Ivory, Manhattan JT, Fyrinnae Pearl Sun, Maybelline Expression kohls in white and black, MAC #2 lashes, CG Lash Blast, gold stars

Wood Elf

I hope you're not getting tired of teal/green looks yet? I've had that gorgeous green glitter sitting in my stash for some months, but I never got round to using it before. It's practically the same as MAC's Green glitter colour-wise - a very beautiful, blue-based green. I applied Fyrinnae's Leif (intense medium green with slight gold shimmer) all over my lid, darkened the outer corners with Bottle Green and then usd Ophelia's Tears (light green) to blend upwards. To make the glitter stick, I used my Fixing Gel and applied it both on my inner lid and beneath my eye, drawing it out onto my cheek and adding some rhinestones and false Ardell lashes:
