Glitter Cut Crease

This look was inspired by this picture, but I changed the colours and added some teal glitter as well!

Iridescence

Recently, while cleaning up my Pure Luxe collection, I came across "Enchanted" and knew instantly that I would have to do a look with it again! It's a fabulous colour and I haven't used it for so long... So I decided to do something all with duochromes and iridescent colours: I applied PL Enchanted in the middle of the lid and framed it with Barry M. Aqua Gold. Then I defined the inner crease with Chartreuse and the outer corner with Orchid and All Girl:






Please excuse the fact that the lashes are all crooked - I only realised they had completely lost their shape when they were already sticking to my lids :S

Neutrals!

Styrch suggested that I should do something "atypical" - a truly neutral look! Now, I used to do a lot of neutrals actually, but then got bored of them after some time and started experimenting with colours, shapes and textures. I haven't done many neutral looks since then, so I actually enjoyed revisiting those neutral shades I have been necleting :) To spice this look up a bit, I tried a really catty liner shape:

Butterfly

As most of you probably noticed, the blog has been revamped and now has a pretty new layout! I really like the colours and patterns - it just feels very "me", that's why I picked it mostly. The only thing I'm not so sure about are the double columns to the right - I'd have preferred to have one on each side!

This week's look was a request from Sofia via the Chatbox - she wanted a butterfly look involving lime green, turquoise, pink and purple. I'm sorry I did not really use purple - but I'm sure you could find a way of adding some to this look :)

Winter Candy

Hey everyone,

did you have a snowy weekend as well? (This question is not for the brazilian gals - I know you are enjoying the sunshine :P!!) We were supposed to have a big snowstorm here but it's been all peaceful and quiet with only about 7 cm of snow. Anyway, with all the recent snowfalls I decided to do something wintery. I'm not very convinced by the outcome, but no risk, no fun - right?? The white line and the glitter in the crease are just not right, but at least it's good to know to avoid that in the future... Oh, and please ignore the hot mess a.k.a. my hair!!

Yes, I do wear some of my looks out!

Galactic

Another look done with the Vivid Cosmetics palette: this time I used Stone on the inner lid, Galactic on the outer lid and in the crease, and highlighted the middle of the lid with a bit of Ice. Then I did an upward gradation using Cosmic, Radiate and Starburst. I also added some silver glitter from the NYX Glitterati palette under the inner tearduct:

New Year's Look

Happy New Year to all of you! I hope everyone had a great night yesterday and got safely into 2010! Here are a few of my New Year's resolutions:

• Lose weight! (around 10 kilos)
• Travel (London trip in march and USA trip in may are already booked, further plans: maybe Ireland in april, a weekend in Paris and Madrid and possibly Indonesia in november!
• Clean out my wardrobe to make room for new stuff
• Write more posts on my Phantom blog
  
• Get a hamster
• Tidy up my place more often
• Devote more time to studying
• Invite friends whom I haven't seen in a while
• Buy less make up and use the stuff I already have instead
  

It's snowing again outside and I'm having a pretty lazy day at home - time to dig out the brushes again :) I haven't felt inspired to do much make up in the last week and have been busy doing other stuff - but then I came across some long-lost Pure Luxe shadows in my old room and decided to give them a try! It's Ecstasy on the lid with Super Liners smoldering and Pin-up in the crease, plus a matte orange colour from the Zoeva palette above the crease.

The eyeliner is actually dark blue - I wanted to buy a black one but grabbed the wrong one in the store :/ I also added some holographic rhinestones to the pattern in the outer corner and a tiny bit of MAC Reflects Antique Gold in the inner corner.
