Go Team Germany!

I admit it: I've been football-crazy ever since I watched my first World Cup back in 1998. I support two teams: Paraguay and Germany - and since both are playing in the quarter-final today, this is an especially exciting day for me!! It's 1 hour to go until Germany plays Argentina, therefore I decided to do a Team Germany-inspired look - and keep my fingers crossed for my teams!!

Iridescence II

Between celebrating my 29th birthday and watching Germany beat England in the World Cup, I actually managed to cram in some make up pictures and I'm really happy with them! I bought some nail art sequins on friday and tried to recreate their iridescence on my lids as well. I also included some of the sequins - this looks cooler in real life, as the light always changes and they capture the light differently. I also used some turquoise mascara on my lower lashes which was more obvious than it appears in the photos...

Shu Uemura Recreation

Hi everyone,

long time no see! Lots of things going on... I hope to be back to posting more regularly again but honestly cannot promise right now - hope you understand!

Anyway, I bought those gorgeous feather lashes at Ricky's in NYC and decided to do a recreation of this Shu look:



I am not sure about the glittery stuff on her cheek... I tried glitter, but don't think it looks good enough. Anyone have any ideas for better stuff to use?

Bold Liner

Hey everyone,

this will probably be my last post for the next weeks, as I will be going on a USA-Canada (NY - Toronto - Daytona Beach - Miami) trip next sunday! I'm not planning on shopping too much make up, but I'm sure I'll still come across quite a few things that I'll bring back from there! You know my heart's not been in doing make up for the past few weeks, therefore I'm actually glad about some away time from the blog and I hope to be back with my head full of new inspiration :)! Oh, and I also need to work on clearing up my technique - I've become sloppy recently. Yeah. Probably it's the lack of concepts in my head that causes my recent looks to be somewhat lacklustre... So today I basically opted for some bold lining adorned with some green:

Oasis

I'm not feeling very inspired lately, so I just come up with whatever crosses my mind - this time, I got out some Pure Luxe colours again and threw them together. It's Oasis in the middle, Diviant at the sides and Voodoo super liner to darken the edges.
