Christmas Outfit of the Day!

Coming straight out of a grueling 2-day cross country road trip from California to Florida, I kept my Christmas outfit deceptively simple thanks to the combination of stripes and sequins. While I do think it's cute, I know I could've easily elevated this outfit to the next level with a gold statement necklace, a belt, or even some festive nail polish...oh well, maybe next time.

Sweater: J Crew
Skirt: Lauren Conrad
Leggings: Forever21

ZARA FLATS

zara-shoes

Having size 2 feet, It's sometimes quite hard to find shoes as theres not always a great selection in small shoe sizes. I saw these Zara shoes online and thought they were so cute that I had to try them on in store!

I instantly fell in love with these when I tried them on, they actually go up to a size 5.5 so are available in adult sizes too. They're so cute and fit really well, the back is a bit stiff but hopefully that will loosen up in time. I'm so in love with these Zara shoes and I think they will be perfect to wear on crisp sunny autumn mornings combined with some blue jeans and a cosy grey jumper!

PRIMARK GEMS

Washbag and headband - Primark

Every now and then, I find a real gem in primark. This week I found two things that I absolutely love.

For £3 this cute little wash bag was too good to pass up, it has two zipped compartments which have the initial 'S' (or whichever initial you choose) as the zip. It's quite good quality and there were a lot of letters available to choose from.

I also bought this headband which again was only £3. It looks so pretty in the light and turns different shades of colour as you move. I'm planning on wearing this with my hair up in a low loose bun and kind of as a crown headband but it can be worn across the forehead, or if you don't mind the elastic slightly showing it's also really pretty as a necklace!

Santa Monica + Outfit(s) of the Night

Last Friday, I went out to Santa Monica with my sister and friends and had a really amazing time at the Pier and Promenade! While out, I thought it'd be fun to do a quick little Outfit of the Day/Night and everyone was more than happy to participate (I really thought the guys would take some convincing, but they were great haha)! This is the first video I've done with my sister, but I'm sure there will be a lot more since we now live in the same city. Hope you all enjoy the video and don't forget to show some love on my Youtube channel!

I finally went to Umami Burger in LA! I've been to the one that recently opened in NYC, but this was my first one on the west coast. The truffle burger was just as delicious as I remembered it. I devoured it so quickly, if it weren't $12 a burger, I would've ordered a second (and I NEVER do that with burgers). I also got their super yummy sweet potato fries and a Mexican Coke (LOVE!). The Umami was connected (I think) to a Fred Segal store so it was sort of a "mini" restaurant that wasn't the biggest or most impressive - especially when compared to the NYC location which almost feels like a high-end lounge with its decor and full size bar - but it was a good experience nonetheless, and I can't wait to go back!

After dinner, we walked over to the Pier where my sister got to ride her first ferris wheel! The view was incredible and it was really neat to see the city and beach all around us.

Don't we all look so dapper? Don't forget to watch the video to see what we're all wearing!

Have you ever been to Santa Monica?

The most wonderful time of the year.

Jingle bells
pretty wrapping paper
Red velvet skirt
Winter flowers
Christmas chocolate

A little late I know, but I had such an amazing Christmas this year that I thought I would share some of the photos. Even though it is now January!
I love Christmas, it's easily my favourite time of the year and I was so gutted to take down the tree last weekend!
I was going to wear this red velvet skirt on Christmas day but I ended up wearing it to put the tree up instead along with a cosy grey jumper and Mac RiRiwoo lipstick.
I spent most of my time over Christmas with family, eating good food, watching films, going on early crisp cold walks (Super cosy tights ftw) and having lot's of laughs. I hope you had a lovely Christmas too!

Topshop Necklace

topshop-triangle-necklace

topshop-necklaceNecklace - Topshop £7.50

I went into Topshop a couple of weeks ago hoping to get a look at the orelia jewelry as I love their collection, especially the little rose gold star necklace. I tried 4 different Topshops but couldn't find it anywhere! In the last Topshop that I went into, I found this necklace, it was the last one and I was so happy as I actually prefer it to the star necklace! I've wanted a bunting-esque necklace for ages now and its so pretty, Its quite small and dainty which I like as I don't really suit chunky necklaces, perfect to team with slouchy jumpers for autumn.

Dragonfly

dragonfly-necklace
Dragonfly necklace: Accessorize £5, Top: Primark £6

I wore this along with some Black skinnies, cardi and a snood for a casual day shopping on Friday. Me and my boyfriend picked up some necessities and then went to Yo sushi and to see Sherlock Holmes 2 at the cinema. Sherlock was really good - very action filled but still, Robert Downey Jr is hilarious in it!

I love the aubergine colour of this t-shirt. The neckline and sleeves are more feminine than a normal shirt which I love and for £6, its a bargain!

Primark Autumn Haul

I thought I would show you what I picked up in Primark last week, theres some lovely autumny pieces in there at the moment. The cardigan was a bargin at £6 and they have some other lovely autumny colours - the one I got is called 'wine red' but there was a lovely deep turqoise one, a rusty red-brown one, camel beige ones and purples too.
The slipper socks (£2) are sooo soft and cosy, they also have great grip on my cold kitchen floor when im cooking cosy wintery dinners!

Every time I've been into Primark recently I've picked up this stag ring and then put it back as I was so unsure about the stags faces - I feel they look quite angry :S lol. This time I spent agges picking a nice face and was soo delighted when I found one I didnt realise I had picked up a large :( I usually get medium primark rings and the large is waay to big :( I think im going to have to wear a smaller ring over the top to stop him falling off.

I hope everyone is having a nice weekend xx
