Seashells

The inspiration for this look came from the masses of beautiful seashells that I brought home from my vacation, and although I myself am not too particularly happy with how it came out, I'll stillpost it because I have left the blog deserted for so long :P.... Bear with me, I'm out of practice because I haven't been doing much make up for the past 3 weeks!

I used Gesso all over the lid, then lined with Prestige eyeliner pencil in magenta, winging the line out at the end a little higher than my lashline (I should have gone higher though) and blending upwards with MAC Sushi Flower. Then I wetted a small eyeliner brush, dipped it into MAC Platinum pigment and drew a line along my crease, with several "lashes" pointing upwards, and the same on the lower lid. I added white kohl to my waterline and glued on some Salon Perfect Lashes and a real seashell in matching colours.

Pictures from Paradise

Hey everyone,

I apologize for my recent lack of postings - I spent the last week and a half in Florida, visiting Miami and Sanibel Island, and have just come back last saturday. It was a holiday, and I have brought you all some pictures I took on Sanibel Island. Great fodder for my Sigma 10-20 mm lens ;)!

Honestly, Sanibel Island is one of the most beautiful places I have been to - it just feels so much like paradise to be there! We had several spells of rain, but on the other hand this made for quite dramatic skies, which photographers adore :D!

I also bought some pretty lashes, from both Ricky's and a Dancewear store in Miami:

I will try and post regularly again, but as I usually do make up on sundays and rehearsals are on sunday afternoons as well, I apologize beforehand in case I can't post in one week!

Lime Crime - Peacock Feathers

Look what I got in the mail this week: Lime Crime goodness! The wonderful Xenia from Lime Crime sent me a beautiful package full of Lime Crime makeup:

I used Duchess all over my upper lid, Empress on my lower lid and Jinx glitter in between to draw this peacock-feather look on my lid and cheek, then finished it with some rhinestones by Misslyn, MAC #2 lashes and black kohl, as well as white kohl on my waterline:
