Another Archetype Look...

This is the second time I'm using Archetype mineral shadows (www.archetpyecosmetics.com) - I like them because they're really sparkly, multi-faceted and they come in many colours that I like (although some of them are quite similar)! I used them with a wetted brush - Jadite in the inner corner, Daybreak Aeval on lid, Black Dalia in the crease and Katerina on top:

This is the first time I took pics in my new place - and I had a pretty hard time finding some good lighting!

And here are some shots I brought home from my trip to Tenerife last week:

You can see more of my photography at pink-spike.deviantart.com. Hope you enjoyed them!

And I also bought this amazng pair of shoes by Carolina Boix, which I love! They're pretty AND walkable:

Fyrinnae Endangered Collection

For this look, the two main colours I used are Meerkat and Polar Bear from Fyrinnae's Endangered Collection. Not only are all of those shades stunning and pretty unique, but a part of the sales profit is donated to the WWF to help protect endangered species! So this is really a collection for animal lovers like me :D!

To create the look, I applied Rimmel Cream Shadow in Ice Princess all over my lid as a primer instead of my staple Bare Study. Meerkat (purple with golf flecks) goes into the inner and outer corners, then I wetted my brush slightly and applied Polar Bear to the middle of my lid, blendng into Meerkat. The same pattern is repeated on the lower lid but with a very small brush. Expression kohl in white goes on the waterline, and black goes beneath the lower lashes in a thin line. Finally, I glued on the falsies with Duo lash glue and went over them with Cover girl Lash Blast mascara. This is a pretty easy look!

As for the lips, pictures really don't do the combo justice! It's more colourful and pink in real life, and it has some gold sparkle as well!

Green Glitter Wings

The idea for this design came to me while I was brushing my teeth - I was wondering, how can I bring bright green, neon orange AND glitter together in one look without it becoming hopelessly loud and garish? And this is my solution:

My first step was to draw the liner on so I knew where I had to place each colour. I applied Kelly Green pigment on my lid and the added some Golder's Green right in the middle and above the crease to give the green some dimension. Then I mixed the glitters with MAC Mixing Medium eyeliner and placed them with a tiny brush in between the black lines, as well as the Neon Orange. After that, I added another layer of liner on top so the lines because clearer. Then I glued on the p2 falsies (aren't they fabulous?? I wish I had bought some more pairs...) and added some more Golder's Green and black liner to the lower lid.

Product list
Eyes: MAC Bare Study, MAC Kelly Green, MAC Golder's Green, MAC Crystalled Lime Glitter, MAC Neon Orange, MAC Chartreuse Glitter, Manhattan JT, Maybelline Expression kohl in black, p2 lashes

Tropical Seashore

This look is meant to resemble the tropical sea, with small waves of sparkling turquoise rolling onto a beach of golden sand... Can you tell I'm up for a vacation :D? I used Pure Luxe Seashore all around my top lid, leaving the mid-lid bare. Then I applied Awakening in the middle and blended the two together. Finally, Dream On was used to deepen the outer corners a little, and Vanilla (the eyeshadow, not the pigment) is the browbone highlighter.

Product list:
Eyes: MAC Bare Study, PL Seashore, PL Sprout, PL Awakening, PL Dream On, MAC Vanilla (e/s), Manhattan JT, Maybelline Expression kohl in white and black, CG Lash Blast
Face: MAC Studio Fix Fluid NC15, Fyrinnae Rice Powder Primer, MAC Studio Finish NC15, Stila Lotus, Terra del Sol #7
Lips: MAC Festivity l/s, MAC Bait l/g

Black Ice

My version of a simple but glittery smokey eye! The colours used to create the "icy" surface is "Black Ice" by Pure Luxe (from the Flash Cubes line, http://pureluxecosmetics.com/page17.html) . This glitter has very tiny particles, compared to regular MAC glitters. I used Carbon all over the lid first, then mixed Black Ice with MAC's Mixing Medium Eyeliner and patted it on top with #242 brush. Then I used Pure Luxe Innocent, a very pale iridescent pink all the way up to my browbone and blended it into Carbon's upper rim. Finally I glued the pink rhinestones by Misslyn onto my skin using Duo eyelash glue to match the pink highlights I was wearing.

Product list:
Eyes: MAC Bare Study, MAC Carbon, Pure Luxe Black Ice, MAC Mixing Medium Eyeliner, Pure Luxe Innocent, Maybelline Expression kohl, CG Lash Blast, pink rhinestones by Misslyn
Lips: YSL Rouge Pur #61 lipstick, MAC Moonstone Lipgelée
Hair: Baby Extensions by Stargazer

Digital Fairy

MAC Bare Study as base, Fyrinnae Digital Faerie allover, MAC Aquavert in crease, turquoise glitter and stars applied with You+Eye Fixing Gel, Manhattan JT, Maybelline Expression kohl in black, CG Lash Blast

Overrich FOTD

Face: MAC Studio Fix Fluid NC15 foundation, MAC Studio Finish NC15 concealer, silk powder, Tarte Tipsy Cheekstain

Eyes: MAC Bare Canvas as base, MAC Blonde's Gold on lid, MAC Museum Bronze in crease, MAC Vintage Gold above crease, Manhattan JT as liner, Maybelline Expression kohl in white on waterline, CG Lash Blast mascara

I know it's way too warm for me - it looked so much better on my hand, but my skin made Blonde's Gold go a rather orangey kind of gold :/...

And I'm so sorry but I can't remeber what I used on my lips for the life of me :(
