Pixie Eyes

Time for a green look (again :)! This was done almost entirely with the Zoeva palette, using different shades of green, chartreuse and yellow. I did the lid in dark green, then went upwards in a degradé up to the browbone, and added a little bit of chartreuse directly below my brow. The colour on the lower lid is drawn out further than usual. To paint the little dots, I mixed some water with Pure Luxe loose eyeshadow in Forest (dark shimmery green) and painted them with a small, pointy brush. I did them freehandedly, so please excuse their little imperfections!

Silver Candy

This look was inspired by "Candyfuture"

I used Platinum all over my lid, with a little wing" on the outer corner. Thenn I continued upwards with a rainbow of Clear Sky blue (matte light blue), a bright pink from the Zoeva palette (see below) and Banana Mochi, a summery yellow. With white kohl I added some definition to the "fish tail", and then repeated the same pattern on my lower lid (but only with blue and pink, no yellow this time). I glued on some rhinestones (1 heart-shaped on in the inner corners,1 bigger and 4 smaller ones in the outer corners) with Duo glue, and lined the upper lid in black. The lower waterline is done in white using Maybelline Expression kohl. The lashes are from the ballet store in Miami as well, the brand's name is "Dancer Only" (the packaging has a pair of pink pointe shoes on it ♥). On my cheeks I am wearing Terra del Sol #7 on my cheekbones, and Dollymix applied with the #187 on my cheeks, and the lipstick is Costa Chic with a bit of Shimmering Viola lipgloss in the middle and on the rims of my lips.

I caved!

Ok, so I am now officially a victim of the recent eyeshadow palette craze! Received my Zoeva 88 Matte palette in the mail today, and it looks really good at first glance. I bought it because I am getting tired of taking all the little pots with me on my travels (especially after I recently lost my Fyrinnae Digital Faerie to a travelling accident in my make up case), and because I need more matte shadows! Mattes, especially colourful mattes, are completely underrated IMO. I find that I am getting bord with shimmer eyeshadows a bit... I used to love them, but now I am rather drifting towards real glitter, or matte shadows. I love using different textures in my looks! Also,I am getting old, and matte shadows make my lids appear smoother ♥

Here is my new colourful flatmate:

Stay tuned for some looks with this palette very soon!

Soft Shading

The aim of this look was to create a soft contouring effect which isn't too obvious, but still emphasizes shadows and light to give more depth to the eye. I used a shimmering, blue-green colour all over my lid (Crazy Metallic dust - this is just like MAC pigments in texture!), and then I blended some Platinum in the middle of the lid to add luminosity. I applied some Looking Glass (matte medium turquoise) in the crease from the outer lid to the inner corner, and used Ripped Jeans to darken the outer and inner crease. After that, I applied some Azadé Limesparkle (light spring green) above my crease. At the end of the liner wings, I glued on some little pearls which are usually used for nail art:

Golden Fire

Hey everyone,

I'm back from my trip to Greece, and I also brought a few make up items which you are probably going to see in a few of my upcoming looks. This one is a look I have had in mind for a few weeks, mostly because I have had Firespot for a year (bought it last may at the Sawgrass CCO) and never used it until now - orange is one of the colours that I find hard to wear... But I framed it with Gold Mode on the inner and outer corners, so that it becomes more wearable for me. I also added PL Bullion mixed with water on top of my black liner on the inner half, and added some more under the winged-out tail. On my lower lid, I am wearing some Gold Mode in the inner corner and black kohl under my lashes, as well as white kohl on the waterline:
