I hope you are all having a lovely bank holiday weekend.
I saw Pirates of the caribbean 4 recently and was soo inspired by the mermaids!!
This look isn't like the mermaids in the film, i've just taken inspiration from it.
To create this look I popped a fishnet stocking over my head and patted on a blue and purple Barry M Dazzle Dust and then lightly brushed gold Barry M Dazzle dust over the top. I carefully lifted the fishnet stocking off and then blended around the outside using a powder brush. I also used the Barry M dazzle dusts on my eyelid. I popped on my tokyo eylure lashes and a clear gloss to complete this look.
For my hair I added some hair extentions and braided them into a fishtail plait.
Hope you like :)

Let me know if you agree or disagree! Also, you might have noticed - I posted twice in one day!! Shocking! Well, I wanted to make sure I squeezed in this last red carpet event before I leave tomorrow for a 5 week backpacking trip with two friends in Europe. Don't expect any posts for at least a month since I won't be taking my laptop with me. No worries though, I'm sure I'll have tons to write about once I get back! Just don't forget about me! Now, off to continue packing!
Every year, the biggest names in fashion and entertainment come together for the Costume Institute Gala that takes place in the New York Metropolitan Museum of Art in what is often described as the “Oscars” of fashion. The MET Ball, as it is also known, is a celebration of fashion and a chance for celebrities to really turn up the glam. This year, the Institute honored the late Alexander McQueen for his brilliant contributions to fashion in its latest exhibition, Alexander McQueen: Savage Beauty. Here are my Top 10 looks from the event (and believe me, it wasn’t easy to choose just 10):
#1 - Gisele Bundchen - Alexander McQueen
#2 - Ashley Greene - Donna Karan
#3 - Taylor Swift - J. Mendel
#4 - Diane Kruger - Jason Wu
#5 - Evan Rachel Wood - Gucci
#6 - Dianna Agron - Michael Kors
