Comic Con: Less Than 1 Week Away!!

My dream of meeting John Barrowman came true in 2009 - thanks to Comic Con
Comic Con, one of, if not THE, thing I look forward to most every year, is less than one week away! For those out of the know, Comic Con is the Americas' largest fan convention – but don’t let the name fool you, it’s not just comics, it also includes science fiction/fantasy, film/tv, video games, anime, and other pop culture elements. Every year, more and more people flock to the San Diego Convention Center. This year is predicted to be around 126,000 people after all tickets were sold out in a record time of 8 hours after going on sale. With so many people, you can imagine how chaotic it can get. This is why my sister and I always have a game plan. As of right now, we’re still waiting for signing schedules to be announced so we don’t have an official plan yet, but here’s our temporary list of what will probably go down. Note: A good rule of thumb for the two biggest rooms, Hall H and Ballroom20, is that once you’re in, stay in…because if you leave, you probably won’t be able to get back inside.

Thursday (Ballroom20 all day, Staying away from Hall H and the Twi-hards):
Burn Notice: The Fall of Sam Axe
Covert Affairs
Psych
Ringer
Game of Thrones
TV Guide: Fan Favorites
Showtime: Dexter, Shameless, and Homeland

Friday (panel and signing with Zachary Quinto 1-3pm makes this tricky, plus there are hardcore True Blood fans to consider…):
Torchwood: Miracle Day
The Walking Dead
The Big Bang Theory (maybe? Will have to leave early to make it to signing)
The Amazing Spider-man (This is what I care most about, but I don’t think we’ll make it due to the signing)

Saturday (a bit of an odd day):
Chuck
Twixt
Relativity: Immortals and Knights of Bada**dom
Snow White and the Huntsman
Dorothy of Oz
(Maybe Kevin Smith, depends how tired I am)

Sunday (All about Hall H, then finish off Comic Con with a Jared Padalecki signing):
Glee
Supernatural
Doctor Who

Anyone else going to Comic Con this year? Anyone wish they were going? What panels are you looking forward to? Expect plenty of Comic Con posts next week (internet allowing)!
